I sure had a lot of fun with Fantasy football this year. I was in a league at work. I was the only female and I know it was hard for the guys to lose to a girl! I learned a lot, had much more fun at home on Sundays (and Thursday and Monday night)! The Red Zone is crazy and fun to watch!
Every week you play another team. Most of the weeks I had a tough matchup and often it came down to the last seconds of the game and I always LOST! Your record is based on wins and losses, but they also calculate the total number of points. I haven't looked lately, but I think I would have placed 5th or 6th based on points. But since it is all based on wins and losses, I finished LAST! In Joe's league that would have earned me a toilet bowl trophy.
The good news is I'm on maternity leave and no one has had the opportunity to make fun of me!
It's fun to finally understand Joe's obsession. It's addicting and a lot of fun! The games are on at our house anyway, so I might as well have a vested interest!
I'll be playing again next year and I'm guessing after my last place finish the guys will welcome me and my donation of cash with open arms!
